Eric Rehm was a SolSmart Advisor with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA), advising communities in Wisconsin and Iowa. He has also worked on solar group buy programs for numerous communities in Illinois.

We spoke to Eric when he joined us for the SolSmart Advisors training in Washington, D.C. His goal as an Advisor? “Identify ways to remove barriers to solar, whether it be in residential, commercial, and within the communities themselves.”

 

 

About Eric

Eric came to the MREA with nearly 20 years of experience working in the public sector, specializing in sustainable policy development, clean energy financing, and program administration. Eric spent nearly five years with the Minnesota Department of Commerce Division of Energy Resources where he was responsible for management of the State’s portfolio of clean energy financing programs, working to deliver cost-effective financial resources to the residential, commercial business, public sector and nonprofit markets in Minnesota.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, with emphasis in public policy and administration from Northern Arizona University and is currently enrolled in the Hamline University MBA Program.
